Car Launches Off Truck Ramp

Like a scene from a movie or TV show, a Georgia woman launched her car off the ramp of a truck that was stopped at a highway accident. The scene was caught on video and the woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The car was launched over 100 feet down the highway before landing upside down and then tumbling end over end another 23 feet. A sheriff’s deputy responding to the scene was hit by flying debris, but his injuries were not considered life threatening. The tow truck was on the side of the road, responding to a previous accident.
