Hollywood, FL Boardwalk Shooting

On Memorial Day, 9 people were injured, including three children, at a crowded beach boardwalk in Hollywood, FL. One suspect was taken into custody. Police responded to reports of a shooting at 6:42 p.m. and found nine victims with gunshot wounds at the scene. Initial investigation led police to believe the shootings resulted from an altercation between two groups. One person of interest was detained and investigators are looking for other suspects. The popular boardwalk was crowded on this Memorial Day as beachgoers looked to enjoy the good weather.
