FBI Tactics Questioned In Trump Probe
U.S. Special Prosecutor John Durham concluded that the FBI should not have investigated possible ties between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election. No charges were recommended for any agents or the FBI itself. Taking three years to compile, the 300 page report states that the FBI used raw and unsubstantiated data when it investigated Trump, but used different standards when investigating Hillary Clinton during the same time period. The original probe was launched in 2019 by then Attorney General William Barr, who was appointed by Trump.
