Teenager Shot After Going To Wrong House

In Kansas City, MO, a black teenager was shot after going to the wrong house to pick up his siblings.  He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.  The homeowner was held for 24 hours before being released. The incident spurred protests which demanded that the shooter be prosecuted. Statements from investigators say they have found no evidence that the incident was racially motivated at this point. Mayor Quinton Lucas promised that there will be a full investigation into the shooting. A GoFundMe account for the family has raised close to $530,000 so far.
