Shark Attack In Honolulu 🦈
A surfer was bitten by a shark in his leg at a busy beach in Honolulu, HI. Before responders arrived, people helped apply a tourniquet to the injured leg. The man is in serious condition in a local hospital. The area is known for its big and attractive waves for surfing. Hawaiian tradition teaches that sharks are family guardians and are to be treated with respect. The U.S. led the world last year in shark attacks, with 41, including one death from an attack in Hawaii. 16 of the incidents occurred in Florida. Sharks are attracted to the warmer waters in these areas.
