Justice Thomas Violates Ethics Laws

It was revealed that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas accepted several luxury trips paid by a Republican super-donor. By law, he was required to report these trips on financial disclosure forms, but he did not.  The trips were provided by donor Harlan Crow, who said that they were no different than other trips extended to friends. Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dick Durbin said the revelation was a “call to action” for possible investigation. Thomas was already under scrutiny for political positions of his wife, Ginni, who was in contact with several people involved with Donald Trump’s campaign to overthrow the 2020 election results. Justice Thomas has previously disclosed other gifts he’s received, but failed to report on the extravagant trips provided by Crow, including travel on his private jet and yacht to locations such as Indonesia.
