Trump To Surrender Tomorrow

Donald Trump will appear in court tomorrow to face his arraignment on criminal charges. A grand jury indicted him last week on over 30 charges, including possible criminal charges, for his payment of hush money to former adult start Stormy Daniels. Trump will be fingerprinted and booked, but is not expected to be handcuffed. To address security concerns, there will be increased police presence, court closings and metal barricades. Protesters are expected at the court house and Trump Tower, where Trump resides while in New York City. Trump has called the charges politically motivated and a “witch hunt” and he’s expected to plead not-guilty. There is substantial evidence against him, including testimony from his former lawyer Michael Cohen, who was convicted on charges related to the payment in question.
