Daniel Jones Leads Giants to Victory

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones led his team to a 31-24 victory Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. According to CBS News, Jones “passed for 301 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 78 yards.” This was Jones’s first career playoff game.

Jones reportedly broke records after this game. He became the “first quarterback in NFL history to hit the following thresholds in a postseason game: 300-plus passing yards, two-plus passing touchdowns and 70-plus rushing yards.” Giants running back Saquon Barkley, said he’s incredibly impressed with the star player, but not surprised as Jones had been “he’s been doing it all year.” The Vikings were handed their first loss after this game, where they previously had a record of winning “12 one-score games” this season.
