Tua Tagovailoa in Concussion Protocol Again

On Monday, the Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is on concussion protocol again. According to CBS News, McDaniel made a statement saying Tua “suffered a concussion sometime during the team’s loss against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day, despite playing the full game.”

Tua reportedly met with doctors discussing symptoms felt after the game, where he was then placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol. McDaniel has not announced whether or not Tua will start in “Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, which has playoff implications for both teams.” Dolphins backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is prepared to take his spot in the game if needed.
