Mega Millions Jackpot Surpasses $565 Million

After the jackpot prize went unscathed on Friday, the Mega Millions pot increased from $510 million to $565 million. This is the second largest Mega Millions jackpot of the year and a new lucky set of numbers will be drawn on Tuesday. The only jackpot higher was the $1.34 billion prize won by an anonymous ticket owner in Illinois. The cash prize is currently at a total of $293.6 million.

The most recent winning draw for the Mega Millions was on October 14 where two ticket owners split the $502 million pot. There have only been 6 winners of the Mega Millions this year and they were in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, California, New York and Tennessee.
