Migrants Dropped Near Kamala Harris’ Home

Three buses full of migrant families were recently dropped off at Vice President Kamala Harris’ house at the Naval Observatory in Washington. The migrant buses came from Texas and held between 110 and 130 people that arrived late Saturday night. The bus drops off are in line with previous action from the Texas government challenging President Biden’s immigration and sanctuary policies.

Thousands of migrants have been dropped off in Washington DC over the previous months from Texas. These three buses were due to arrive Christmas day but came a day early with underdressed young children in temperatures hovering around 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has not responded to requests for comments but has confirmed that his office has sent over 15,000 willing migrants to sanctuary cities such as Washington, New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
