27 Dead in Western New York Blizzard

The Buffalo, New York area has been suffering through a blizzard so bad there have already been 27 casualties as a result. The Western region of the state calls this “one of the worst weather related disasters” in its history. This same storm has already taken the lives of almost 50 people across the country.

The deceased in Buffalo were found in their cars, on their property, and in snowbanks. Some died in automobile accidents while others lost their lives simply shoveling snow at their homes. Rescue efforts have been persistent throughout the weekend while many are asking for donations as the snow is predicted to rise another 9 inches by Tuesday.
