Police Fire Teargas at Site of Paris Shooting

On Friday, French police fired tear gas into crowds of protestors outside a Kurdish community center in central Paris. The very agitated protestors were outside showing their anger for a gunman who had earlier entered the community center and fired a gun killing three people and injuring four others. All three victims killed were Kurds.

Police were able to capture and arrest the 69 year old French gunman. Police are currently investigating a motive for this act, not ruling out the possibility that it was a racism driven attack. Paris Prosecutor Laure Beccuau asks the French president and prime minister to allow the Kurdish people to hold their demonstrations if they please.
