Hall of Famer Willie McGinest Arrested

Willie McGinest, a former Patriots linebacker and NFL Hall of Famer, was arrested Monday. According to the Associated Press, McGinest’s arrest was “in connection with an assault at a Southern California nightclub.”

The Associated Press reported on Monday that the “incident occurred Dec. 9 at a club in West Hollywood, where witnesses identified McGinest as one of the people who were involved. McGinest was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon after coming to the West Hollywood sheriff’s station to give a statement about the incident.” McGinest was reportedly arrested and booked early Monday morning at the West Hollywood Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. CBS News reported that booking information did not release the “charge levied against McGinest,” all that was released was it is felony level.
