Argentina Wins World Cup 2022
On Sunday, the 2022 World Cup ended with a win for Argentina against France. According to NPR, “The match ended with a final score of 3-3 and Argentina leading 4-2 in penalties.” Argentina’s legendary player Lionel Messi announced this would be his last World Cup appearance, and he concluded it with a win.
At the beginning of the match, Argentina had a “2-0” lead against France, but France’s “Kylian Mbappé quickly changed the course of the game with two goals of his own in the second half.” Lionel Messi quickly scored another goal to break the tie, but Mbappé tied it once again.
