The Voice Crowns Winner of its 22nd Season

On Tuesday, ‘The Voice’ crowned the winner of their 22nd season. Country artist Bryce Leatherwood who was on Team Blake, was awarded the title of winner in the most recent season of the singing competition show at only 22 years old.

According to CNN, Leatherwood won against “Bodie who was also on team Blake, Morgan Myles on team Camila, Omar Jose Cardona on team Legend, and Brayden Lape on team Blake.” Country star and Leatherwood’s coach Blake Shelton, compared Leatherwood’s talent to Country legend George Strait, saying to him “It seems like you’ve got about 40 years of experience…You deliver and you’re solid and people react to that.” For one of his last performances on the show, Leatherwood performed Blake Shelton’s song “Hillbilly Bone,” alongside him.
