NFL Week 14 Takeaways
In week 14 of the 2022 NFL season, around 11 games were played on Sunday. Grant Gordon, a Digital Content Editor for the NFL, posted his NFL Week 14 Takeaways for this past Sunday.
According to Grant, his takeaways included “Herbert outduels Tua by a landslide…Healthy Williams makes an impact,” and “Tagovailoa, Dolphins offense has ugliest of outings.” Most of his takeaways were based on the Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers game, where the Chargers won 23-17. Grant concluded overall in his takeaways that although the game was close, the Dolphins lessened their chances of winning due to struggles they had within their offense. Gordon said when the Dolphins No 4. offense went against the Chargers No. 26 defense, the Dolphins had “17 points again, but only 219 total net yards.” Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a “horrendous night,” with only “10-of-28 passing for 145 yards, the TD and a 65.3 rating with a 35.7 completion percentage.” Tagovailoa and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle were reportedly not in sync for the majority of the game, as Waddle only had “two catches for 31 yards.” Gordon reported that if the Dolphins want to perform well at the AFC East showdown against Buffalo, their offense needs to “wake up.”
