Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Docu Series Debuts

On Thursday, the first three episodes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docu series was released on Netflix. According to ABC News, the series titled “Harry and Meghan,” consists of six episodes where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “open up in the docuseries about everything from their love story to their decision two years ago to step down from their senior royal roles.”

The series is directed by Oscar-nominated Liz Garbus, and is a “first-hand account of Harry and Meghan’s story, told with never before seen personal archives.” The first episode of the series opens with a note explaining that the “interviews for the docuseries were completed by August, one month before the death of Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.” The series talks about “big moments” in the couple’s lives, including the death of Princess Diana, tabloid exploitation, pressures of becoming royal, and the relationship the couple has with members of the Royal Family. It was also noted in the start of the first episode that the Royal Family was reached out to during the filming of the series, but declined to make any comments regarding it. The last 3 episodes will be released to Netflix on December 15th.
