NFL Week 12 Takeaways
In week 12 of the 2022 NFL season, around 12 games were played on Sunday. Grant Gordon, a Digital Content Editor for the NFL, posted his NFL Week 12 Takeaways for this past Sunday.
According to Grant, his takeaways included “This was Jalen Hurts’ night…Rodgers does not go softly into a lost season,” and “Run, Eagles, run.” Most of his takeaways were based on the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers game, where the Eagles won 40-33. Grant concluded overall in his takeaways that the Eagles played a strong game. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurt had one of his best performances, rushing for “more than 100 yards in the first quarter and led the Eagles to touchdowns on each of their first two drives.” Grant reported that the Eagles offense “ripped apart the Packers with their rushing attack,” and left the Packers struggling. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left the game due to thumb and rib injury, leaving Jordan Love to come take over. Rodgers reportedly said he “intends to play next week if his MRI results are negative,” but could possibly be out from injury. Overall, Grant concluded that the Eagles dominated the majority of the game, leading the Packers into a tough loss.
