5 Dead in Colorado LGBTQ Club Shooting

5 people were killed Saturday night in a shooting at LGBTQ nightclub, Club Q, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Gunman Anderson Aldrich walked into the nightclub and began firing his rifle from the doorway. Aldrich shot and killed 5 people and wounded 17 others.

Aldrich will face five counts of first degree murder along with five counts of bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury. The deceased victims are Daniel Aston, Raymond Green Vance, Kelly Loving, Ashley Paugh and Derrick Rump. Bartender Michael Anderson was bartending when he saw the gunman begin firing, he dropped to hide the bar but witnessed his bar supervisor and friend Daniel Aston be fatally shot. Two men were able to take down the gunman before he could injure more.
