Trump Lashes out at Republican Rival DeSantis

Former President Donald Trump has shared some words about fellow Republican politician Governor Ron DeSantis. DeSantis has just been re-elected as the Governor of Florida by a landslide vote, and Trump has taken a chunk of the credit for that. It is no surprise that there are rumors of both men running for office in the 2024 presidential election, but both stand in the way of an easy run.

Former President Trump said on Thursday that DeSantis came to him in 2017 with no followers or fans, and Trump took him in and helped him change his appearance and name to gain what he has now. He believes DeSantis is “playing games” by not disclosing his decision to potentially run for presidency, leading Trump to feel a lack of loyalty from his apprentice.
