Actress Jennifer Aniston has opened up in an interview with Allure, talking about her past struggles with infertility and IVF. Aniston told Allure that she “was trying to get pregnant,” saying “It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road.”

According to People, sources close to Aniston said that Aniston was comfortable now with sharing her struggles with infertility and IVF, saying “She’s 53 now and knows the [children] ship has sailed.” People reported that Aniston did wait to speak publicly about the matter, and that “Her IVF journey was private and hers, and those close to her knew but never asked.” The ‘Friends’ star told Allure that she was “at peace and is very happy in her life,” and although she wished she froze her eggs, she knows that having “kids or no kids didn’t change her.”
