5 States Deciding on Whether to Legalize Marijuana

Voters in 5 states will have the ability to vote on whether or not their state should legalize recreational cannabis. This could start the shift of legalization in extremely conservative states. The proposals are on the voting ballots of Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maryland, and Missouri.

Just last month, President Joe Biden announced that he is giving pardons to all American citizens who had previously been convicted of simple possession of marijuana under federal law. Recreational cannabis is already legal in 19 states in the US, and this addition to the ballot shows the rules are bending.
