DeSantis and Biden to Put Their Political Feud on Hold for Hurricane Damage Tour
President Joe Biden and Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have put their political rivalry on hold for the sake of assessing the damages caused by Hurricane Ian this past week. DeSantis is rumored to be running against the Democratic president in the 2024 election.
Upon his arrival at Fisherman’s Wharf on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Biden was welcomed by DeSantis and his wife, where they talked for a few minutes before looking at the wreckage. Both politicians have emphasized how amazing it is that their administrations have been working together so well to provide relief to those affected by the hurricane.
