Hugh Jackman to Play Wolverine in Deadpool 3

On Tuesday, actor Ryan Renyolds made an announcement to Twitter confirming that Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Reynolds posted a short video to Twitter confirming Jackman’s appearance, captioning the video with “Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one.”

According to BBC News, the caption was a reference to “Deadpool’s previous appearance in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” BBC reported that in less than 1 day, the video had more than “25 million views, one million likes, and hundreds of thousands of replies.” Jackman also made a cameo in the back of the Twitter video. Reynolds asked Jackman if he wants to “play Wolverine one more time,” and Jackman responded with, “Yeah, sure, Ryan.”
