Aaron Judge Hits 60th Home Run of the Season

Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has hit his 60th home run of the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates. According to ESPN, before Judge, “only five players had hit 60 home runs in a single season in the history of the major leagues.”

Judge has now tied MLB legend Babe Ruth “for eighth place on the single-season home run list” since he hit his 60th. ESPN reported that when he was asked about the numbers, Judge said “I don’t think about the numbers,” and that he is trying to keep his “head down, keep preparing and stay mentally focused.”
