Biden Claims Covid is “Over”

President Joe Biden has just claimed that the Covid 19 pandemic is “over,” yet it is still present globally. During an interview broadcasted Sunday, Biden said “We still have a problem with Covid. We’re still doing a lotta work on it. But the pandemic is over. If you notice, no one’s wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it’s changing.”

The World Health Organization has also declared that the end of the pandemic is approaching with weekly death rates the lowest they’ve been since March 2020. In just the first 8 months of 2022, over 1 million people have died from Covid 19, and there are over 400 Covid related deaths a day in the US.
