R. Kelly Convicted of 6 Counts in Federal Trial

On Wednesday, R.Kelly was found guilty on 6 counts of child sex crimes. According to CBS News, R.Kelly was convicted in a Chicago federal court for “three child pornography counts, and three counts of enticing minors for sex,” but was “acquitted of seven other charges, including obstruction of justice, and conspiracy to receive child pornography.”

As the 5 week long trial in Chicago is over, Kelly still is not finished with other trials from his past. According to CBS News, Kelly still faces “trial in Cook County in sexual assault and sexual abuse cases,” and “charges of soliciting a minor for prostitution in Minnesota.”
