Tropical Storm Seven Forms in the Atlantic

Tropical Depression Seven is brewing in the Atlantic and is now expected to move its way up to a tropical storm. Eyeing the Caribbean islands, Seven is expected to upgrade her name to Tropical Storm Fiona on Thursday. This is already the seventh tropical depression that has formed during hurricane season.

The islands of Puerto Rico have already begun to suffer through heavy rainfall, but once the depression turns to a storm, there is expected flooding in the predominantly mountainous terrain. The storm is directed towards the Caribbean islands first, and then passing through the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico over the weekend.
