NFL Week 1 Winners and Losers: Takeaways

The NFL regular season has just started, and here’s what happened if you missed it. The winners of Sunday football were the Steelers, Saints, Bills, Bears, Eagles, Dolphins, Ravens, Redskins, Browns, Colts, Vikings, Chiefs, Chargers, Buccaneers, Seahawks, and surprisingly the Giants.

There were also many injuries in the opening games for these teams. Some game ending injuries were given to 16 teams in the first regular season game. Baltimore Ravens Ja’Wuan James suffered a torn achilles against the Jets. Dak Prescott will require surgery on his throwing hand after a hit in the Cowboys v. Bucs game. Defensive Player of the Year TJ Watt suffered a torn pec late in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. With these injuries and more, head coaches are scrambling to adjust their lineups for week 2.
