Chelsea’s Manager Thomas Tuchel Gets Fired

On Wednesday morning, Chelsea’s manager Thomas Tuchel, was fired. According to ESPN, relations between Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly, and Tuchel “became strained over the club’s transfer strategy, while further concerns over the team’s substandard start to the season prompted ownership to act.”

Chelsea made a statement in regards to the firing of Tuchel, showing their “gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the club.” Tuesday was Tuchel’s 100th game with the club. Neither Tuchel, nor Chelsea staff, have made any further comments.
