Judge Grants Trump “Special Master” Review of Mar-a-Lago Documents

District Judge Aileen Cannon has just granted former president Donald Trump’s request for a “special master” to review the documents seized in the Mar-a-Lago raid last month. This is a huge win for Trump since he was out of town during the FBI raid.

Judge Cannon ordered that an outside party attorney would be brought in to review the materials seized. This special master’s review also puts a temporary stop to the Department of Justice’s review of the documents until the master review has finished their work.

The former president emphasized the importance of the master review, especially since he feels his Constitutional rights have been tampered with. Both sides have until Friday to submit their special master candidates and their duties.
