Twitter Reveals Edit Feature

On Thursday, Twitter revealed that they are testing a new feature on the social media app, which would allow users to edit tweets. According to CNN, Twitter announced in a blog post that “edited tweets are being tested internally and that the feature would expand to subscribers of its paid Twitter Blue service later this month.”

Twitter reportedly first announced earlier in April that they would be creating and testing the edit feature for the app. The edit feature is planned to allow edits to be made a “few times for up to 30 minutes after they are first posted,” and tweets will show if they have been edited or not. Twitter will be testing this feature out for the remainder of the year.
