Violent Street Gang Indicted for Break Ins of Atlanta Celebrity Homes

An Atlanta prosecutor announced multiple break-ins of celebrity homes all across the city. The prosecutor’s announcement came on Monday where she revealed an indictment targeting a violent Atlanta street gang.

The indictment housed 220 counts and applied to 26 people, most involved are also accused of violating Georgia’s anti-gang laws. Some of the houses broken into were Mariah Carey’s, Brad Guzan, and Calvin Ridley. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said “were committed by members of the Drug Rich gang, which she said began to emerge in 2016 in a neighboring county. In addition to the celebrity targets, social media influencers were also victimized in home invasions and burglaries.”

Willis said the indictment is a sign to gangs that Fulton county is not one to be messed with, and this case is a collaboration of law enforcement agencies putting a stop to gang violence.
