Musk Files Another Notice to Cancel Twitter Deals
Richest man alive Elon Musk has filed another notice in the cancellation of his deal with Twitter to purchase the social media platform. Musks’ withdrawal from the deal comes after he was informed that the company’s database had been altering user data and controls, an act he was not comfortable with allowing.
This new notice, although legally unnecessary, was important to Musk and his team in the case that his other notice of withdrawals are not accepted in court. “Because these facts were known to Twitter and withheld from the Musk Parties, and because Twitter has since taken the position that the Merger Agreement remains in effect, the Musk Parties hereby provide this additional notice of termination of the Merger Agreement,” Musk lawyers claimed.
