Taylor Swift Announces New “Midnights” Album

At the MTV Music Awards on Sunday, Taylor Swift announced that she will be releasing a new album titled “Midnights” in October of this year. Vanity Fair reported that while accepting an award for Video of the Year, the singer told her fans, “I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out Oct. 21. I will tell you more at midnight.”

As promised, Swift posted the cover to her new album “Midnights” on her instagram, at midnight. She captioned the image saying the album is “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life,” and will be released on October 21st.
