Dinosaur Tracks Uncovered in Texas Drought
Earlier this week, dinosaur tracks were uncovered due to a drought happening in Texas. According to CNN, Dinosaur Valley State Park made a statement saying the dried up river exposed the 113 million old tracks at their park.
Stephanie Salinas Garcia from the park, emailed CNN saying the “tracks uncovered at different parts of the river belong to an Acrocanthosaurs,” and that the dinosaur was estimated to stand at “about 15 feet tall and weigh around seven tons.” It has been reported that many other tracks in parks across Texas have been discovered, and as the drought continues, more may come.
