US Launches Airstrike Against Iran Groups

President Joe Biden has just ordered airstrikes against Iranian groups in Syria in response to an attack near a U.S. military base. Col. Joe Buccino revealed that the strike happened on Tuesday, targeting an infrastructure used by groups affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

As of now, there have been no reported casualties from the airstrike. 9 bunkers were hit, which were said to be ammunition depots and logistics supply facilities. The strikes were carried out by F-15 and F-16 fighter pilots. The U.S. informed Russia on their plan just minutes before the attack. This attack was a retaliation attempt for the August 15th attacks on U.S. military facilities in Syria.
