Judge Orders Starbucks to Reinstate Workers

On Thursday, a federal judge in Memphis, Tennessee ordered the reinstatement of fired Starbucks workers. According to ABC News, 7 workers in Memphis were fired earlier in the year after “leading an effort to unionize their store.”

U.S. District Judge Sheryl Lipman is reportedly requiring Starbucks to “offer to reinstate the employees within five days, and will also require them to post the court order in the Memphis store.” The coffee corporation has announced that they disagree with the order, and will be appealing it.
