Starting this Fall Covid Vaccines Will no Longer be Required in Schools

Starting this fall for the 2022-2023 school year, COVID vaccines will no longer be required in order to attend school. As counties across the country are returning to normal in-person school, many were questioning whether or not vaccines, or even masks, would be required in order to attend.

According to the AAP, they, along with the CDC “recommend COVID-19 vaccinations for all eligible children and adolescents who do not have contraindications using a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use for their age.” As the AAP and CDC are not forcing schools to require vaccines, they are asking schools to strongly encourage them, along with mask wearing.
