Pentagon Announces Another Military Aid Package for Ukraine Worth $1 Billion

On Monday, the Biden Administration announced it will be sending $1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine in their fight against Russia. The Pentagon has disclosed that this is the largest package of arms and equipment from inventory since Russia invaded Ukraine 5 months ago.

This shipment includes ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, Javelin air tank missiles, mortar and anti-armor systems, and 50 armed medical treatment vehicles with supplies.

Including this delivery, the US has now sent over $9.8 billion in aid to Ukraine since President Biden took office. $9 billion of that total has been sent since the Russian invasion began.
