Marquise Brown Arrested for Reportedly Speeding at 126 mph
Cardinals receiver Marquise Brown was arrested for allegedly speeding. Brown was reported by Sporting News to be driving at 126 mph. He was arrested at “7:05 a.m. local time driving southbound on state Route 101 in a high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane,” in Arizona’s Maricopa county.
According to the Health Law Firm in Gilbert, Arizona, the maximum penalty for criminal speeding is “30 days in jail, a $500 fine plus an 83 percent surcharge, and up to one year of probation.” The Cardinals have released a statement pertaining to the situation, but have not yet announced if Brown will receive consequences from the NFL team or not, alongside State consequences.
