Ellen Pompeo to Appear Less in Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy

Actress Ellen Pompeo is set to appear less in episodes of Season 19 of the popular television show, Grey’s Anatomy. According to Deadline, Pompeo will only ” appear in eight episodes of the upcoming 19th season.”

While it was reported she will only be in 8 episodes, it has been announced that she will still narrate/voice over episodes, and will continue to remain as executive producer. Pompeo’s drawback is said to be due to her upcoming role in Hulu series, Orphan, which is her first role outside of Grey’s Anatomy in almost 20 years.
