Webb Telescope Captures Cartwheel Galaxy

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has captured a glimpse into the Cartwheel Galaxy. According to the NASA website, the Webb Telescope has “new details about star formation and the galaxy’s central black hole,” and has “provided a new view of how the Cartwheel Galaxy has changed over billions of years.”

The Cartwheel Galaxy is reported to be 500 million light years away. The images captured by the Webb Telescope “provide an insight” into how the galaxy may potentially change in the future, but as of right now, NASA believes the galaxy is still in a transitory stage.
