Apple Drops Mask Requirement for Corporate Employees

Apple’s Covid Response Team has just released an email informing corporate members that they are dropping their mask mandate at most locations. They welcomed workers to still wear masks if they felt the need to, but requested respect for their coworkers’ decisions.

Apple had started to require some employees to go back to the office in April, but never fully initiated their hybrid plan. With a sudden spike in the BA.5 COVID-19 variant, it is likely that most employees will continue to wear a mask to work. Apple urges its employees to keep up with safety measures in their locations and to stay up to date on local news and mandates.
