Several Ukraine POWs Killed in Missile Strike

Dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been killed by a missile strike on a prison in Donetsk, which is currently being occupied by Russia. Both Russia and Ukraine have blamed each other for this attack and the loss of the lives inside the prison during the strike.

Russia’s defense ministry claims that 40 prisoners were killed and 75 were wounded in the attack. Ukraine also says that 40 prisoners were killed but that 130 were injured. Ukrainian defense forces are persistent in the belief that Russia initiated the strike in order to hide the fact that they were torturing and murdering the prisoners.
