Kyle Murray Says he Will Default $230 Million Contract if He Doesn’t Study Film
On Monday, it was announced that NFL player Kyle Murray’s $230 million contract includes a clause saying he must study film. According to Sports Illustrated, the contract states that Murray must “spend four hours each week studying film and can’t have a TV on in the background or play video games while doing his homework.”
Sports Illustrated reported that in a 2021 New York Times interview, Murray publicly admitted to not watching film. Murray’s comment saying he’s “not one of those guys that’s going to sit there and kill myself watching film.”, is one that many on social media have said “did not age well.” Many viral memes about Murray’s “homework” have circulated around twitter. Murray has yet to comment.
