Human Remains Found at Lake Mead
On Monday, human remains were found at Lake Mead in Boulder City, Nevada. The National Park Service has released statements saying this is the third set of remains found at the Swim Beach due to the water levels continuing to drop.
According to CNN, at around 4:30pm, park rangers responded to a report of human remains found. It has been reported that the “Clark County Medical Examiner is assisting with determining the cause of death,” and a perimeter has been set, blocking off the remains so they can be uncovered. According to CNN, the first set of remains at Lake Mead were found on May 1st, the second set on May 7th. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Homicide Lt. Ray Spence told the public that “it is likely that we will find additional bodies that have been dumped in Lake Mead as the water level drops more.”
