Bishop Robbed in New York in a $400k Heist

On Sunday during a live streamed service, a bishop and his wife in Brooklyn were robbed. According to CNN and NYPD, Bishop Lamor Whitehead and his wife were “in the middle of delivering a sermon at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries church in Canarsie, when three gunmen burst in around 11:15 a.m. displaying firearms and demanding property.”

Bishop Lamor Whitehead told everyone to get out incase of a shooting. He told police all of his wife’s jewelry and his jewelry, including his wedding band, were taken by the armed robbers. Police believe that around $400,000 worth of jewelry had been stolen, but that number has since increased to be up to $1 million stolen. CNN has reported that no injuries occurred, and the investigation on finding the masked robbers is still ongoing.
