Le’Veon Bell Announces he will not be Playing in the NFL to Focus on Boxing

On July 1st, Le’Veon Bell announced on Twitter that he will be taking a break from the NFL to focus on boxing. Le’Veon Bell told Grant Gordon from NFL Media, that he has decided he is not playing football for sure, and will instead turn his focus towards boxing.

According to Bleacher Report, Le’Veon Bell is “already scheduled to box another NFL veteran, running back Adrian Peterson.” It has been reported that although it is the first ever fight for both men, it will not count as a professional debut. The fight will be held on July 30, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, as the second Social Gloves event.
